SILVER SPRINGS -- Ruth I. Alderson, 98, a retired grocery store owner, died Jan. 21, 1995, at home.
A native of St. Louis, she came here 50 years ago to live. She was Methodist.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Tom Stanley, Silver Springs, Wanda I. Penuel, Ocala, and Mary Lee Gunter, Marietta, GA; eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete N. Alderson; daughters Patsy Ruth Ezell and Vivian Powell; and a son, Kenneth C. Alderson.
Hiers Funeral Home, Ocala, is handling arrangements.
