Mary Ann is buried in Marengo Village cemetery in Calhoun Co., MI. Her husband Philemon is buried there, location: Sec. 1, Lot 2. Their daughter Mary Ann AUSTIN LEWIS is also buried there and a single marker serves for all family members. This is a pioneer cemetery as far as most non-Native burials are concerned. The only existing ledger for it is in the township office in Marshall since about 2004. There is no office or sexton for this cemetery, and many headstones are toppled or missing.
