Maxine Anderson of Bedford, IN, died Wednesday, January 27, 2001, at the home of her daughter in Heltonville, IN. Born on October 13, 1925, in Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of Huston and Gertrude (Shedelbower) Webb. She married Frank Anderson on September 3, 1946, and he died February 23, 1999.

Surviving are four daughters: Veneita Kay Apple of French Lick, IN, Sharon Lynn Nolan of Heltonville, IN, Barbara Sue Alberts of Wheeling, WV, and Frankie Renee Young of Mitchell, IN; one adopted daughter, Patsy Blalock of Chicago, IL; twelve grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was a telephone operator for Indiana Bell and was a member of the Avoca Baptist Church.

Services for Maxine Anderson will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Lyndell Manship and Mike Craig officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
