Frances Henderson, 85, of Columbia passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2004, at Boone Hospital Center.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 3, at Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Bryan officiating. Visitation will be an hour before services. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Henderson was born Dec. 4, 1918, in Case County, Iowa, to Rollie and May Lantz Way. On Oct. 24, 1941, she married Carl Henderson in Atlantic, Iowa, and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of Missouri United Methodist Church.
She and her husband were avid golfers who retired from Iowa to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1983. At the age of 74, she mastered her only hole-in-one. Her hobbies were quilting, knitting and crocheting as well as spending a lot of time in the kitchen.
Survivors include a son, Doug Henderson and wife, Alicia, of Columbia; a brother, Max Way of Lincoln, Neb.; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren including Drew Henderson and wife, Kim, and children Alyssa and Blake, all of Stillwater, Okla., Sarah Whitney and husband, Brayden, and son Brett, all of Lake St. Louis and Marti Sears and husband, Chris, of Decatur, Ga.
