No husband with the family. By 1910 she is living in Wayne county listed as Mettie Watt, single, as a servant in a household. Her parents are also located in Wayne County and a five year old granddaughter Mamie Watt is living with them. One family tree on ancestry names the father as Granville H. Watt, abt 1858-1899, no source for marriage. Mamie's obit refers to him as Hayes.
