Lolita Kay Ruth Watson Alexander, 61, wife of Virgil Clifton Alexander, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Valdosta, GA, to the late Angus Terrell Watson, Sr., and Kathryn Lolita Byrd Smith, Kay was a graduate of Tri-County Technical College where she also worked in the Admissions Department. She enjoyed swimming, making jewelry, Pandora bracelets, as well as other crafts, attending yard sales and spending time with her grandchildren who meant so much to her. Mrs. Alexander was also a dedicated primary member of the Easley Chapter 200 O.E.S, and a duel member of the Liberty Chapter 80 O.E.S.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Michael Phillip Alexander of Liberty; four daughters, Sandra Malone (John) of Piedmont, Katie Wilson (Joey) of Easley, Bobbi Jo Stewart (Michael) of Liberty and Chantel Reynolds of Liberty; a brother, Angus Watson, Jr. of Nashville, GA; three sisters, Grace Watson of Easley, Betty Phillips of Perry, GA and Wanda Makuch of Warner Robbins, GA; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 12, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

The family is at the home of Katie Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Easley Chapter 200 OES, P.O. Box 2566, Easley, SC 29641.
