The son of William Watson and Hatti (Gentry) Brown Watson, he was born May 23, 1940 at Pindall, Arkansas.
He was a foreman for Heinz Lumber Company where he had worked for 16 years and had done Mill work for 20 years.
His parents preceded him in death along with his 2nd wife, Donna Watson.
Surviving are his first wife, Frankie (Johnson) Watson of Oregon; sons, James Watson and his wife, Dorothy of Flagstaff, AZ and Steven Watson of Empire, Nevada; one daughter, Brenda Pitcher of Oregon; two brothers, Eugene Watson of Harrison and Devoe Wilson of Harrison; a sister-in-law, Alta Watson of Harrison; five grandchildren, Jason Pitcher, Sheena Dove, Shawn Watson, Jessica Watson, and Matthew Watson; and three great grandchildren.
There was a graveside service Friday, June 26th at Anderson Flat Cemetery with Paul Holder officiating. Family members served as pallbearers.
