Betty Branham, 74 of Independence, died Nov. 21, 2002, at Menorah Medical Center. She was born Dec. 17, 1927, in Quincy, IL, to Charles and Lucy (Crutchfield) Watson.
She was a hostess for Olive Garden in Independence for three years.
Mrs Branham was an active member of the social sorority Beta Sigma Phi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Branham Sr., in 1976, and a son, Michael S. Branham, in 1969.
Her survivors include a son, Robert G. Branham Jr. and wife, Connie of Lead Hill, AR; a daughter, Sally Konopasek of Blue Springs, MO; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call tonight at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, Independence. Services will be Tuesday at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church, Independence. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens, Independence.
