Maxine Allred, 83, of Middlebury, died at 7:25 am, on Monday, September 22,
at Courtyard Of Goshen. She was born on November 6, 1930, in Adair, KY, to
Edith Watson. On February 6, 1956 in Louisville, KY she married Delmar J.
Allred, he died April 14, 1989. Surviving is a daughter, Marrine Smith of
Middlebury; a son, Brian (Tammie) Allred of Elkhart; five grandchildren, three
great grandchildren; a sister, Nellie Karnes of Columbia, KY. She was
preceded in death by her husband, mother, brother, Raymond Watson.
Maxine was a homemaker and an active member of Faith Baptist Church. She
enjoyed gardening, playing cards with her friends and loved spending time
with her grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3:00 -7:00 pm on Wednesday
September 24, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street
Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Thursday September 25,
at Faith Baptist Church, Middlebury. Services will be conducted by Rev.
Donald Chesher. Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury.
Memorials may be given to the Faith Baptist Church Building fund.
