TAYLORS, SC - Patsy "Pat" Watson Paris, 72, of Taylors, passed away Friday, February 13, 2009, at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Edwin Kilgore Watson and the late Kate Lindsey Watson Williams. Mrs. Paris was retired from Mt. View Elementary School and was a member of Mountain View United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Harvey Furman Paris; a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Darlene and Ron Wolfe; a grandson, Seth A. Wolfe, and his fiancee, Shannon Smoak; a sister, Cornelia W. Rader; a sister-in-law and a brother-in-law, Mildred and James Burns; two nephews, Chris Rader and Jay Rader and wife Barbara; a niece, Jan Tennis and husband Tim; and a cousin, George Paris.
Graveside services will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning at Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 Sunday afternoon at The Howze Mortuary.
The family will be at their respective homes.
Memorials may be made to Mountain View United Methodist Church Building Fund, 6525 Mountain View Road, Taylors, SC 29687.
The family would like to thank the Cancer Center, Dr. Giguere and his staff, Dr. Terry and St. Francis Hospital for the wonderful care provided Mrs. Paris in recent years.
