Lucille Watson Parks Brown, of 15 Ramblewood Lane, died Friday, April 21, 2006.
Born in Greenville County, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Thomas I. and Ollie Jenkins Watson.
Mrs. Brown was a former employee of Daniel Construction Company and J.E. Sirrine.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Greenville, and the Apphia Sunday School Class.
She was also a member of the Greenville Women's Club.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert F. Parks; four sisters, Ruby Ford, Gladys Willis, Dorothy Turner, Bea Shockley; and a brother, Clyde Watson.
Surviving are her husband, J. Leighton Brown, of the home; two daughters, Diana Parks Gibson and her husband, Phil, of Piedmont, S.C., and Nancy Parks Gutierrez and her husband, Raphael, of Edneyville, N.C.; a sister, Helen Carter, and two brothers, H.D. Watson and Adger Watson, all of Greenville; and two grandsons, Robert and Jonathan Gibson, both of Piedmont, S.C. Also surviving are a stepdaughter, Alice Brown Cooper and her husband, Michael, of Spartanburg, S.C.; and a stepson, William L. Brown and his wife, Faye, of Greer, S.C.
Services will be conducted Monday, April 24, 2006, at 11 a.m., at The Mackey Mortuary, with Dr. Jeff Rogers and Dr. Baxter Wynn officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Members of the Apphia Sunday School Class and the Men's Fellowship Class will serve as honorary escort.
The family will receive friends Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
