Edna Mae Watkinson Crowl, 90, Scio died Monday, Feb. 19, 2007 at Park Village in Dover.Born March 27, 1916 in Bridgeville, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Peter and Louise Coan Watkinson. A 1934 graduate from Mt. Pleasant High School she moved to Scio in 1946 to take a job at the Scio Pottery. While working there she met Walter E. Crowl and they married March 23, 1949. She retired from Scio Pottery in 1981.She was a member of the Scio United Methodist Church and AARP. She was an elegant lady who loved to go shopping, especially for shoes and purses.

Edna was preceded in death by Walter Crowl on November 11, 2001; sisters, Dora Goodwin, Mary Feutz, Laura Coleman and Helen Warner and brothers, George and Charles Watkinson.Surviving are sisters Virginia (Bob) Carr of Scio and Betty Christ of North Manchester, Ind. She was Aunt Edna to many nieces and nephews.
