GRAY, Helen Clemetine, ""Tillie"", 60 of Roanoke passed away Wednesday, April 15, 1998. Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Washington, Roanoke; one brother, Herman R. Washington Jr., Roanoke; one sister, Linda Sue and Charles Washington, Roanoke; and a host of nieces and nephews. Among them a niece, LaTasha Washington, Roanoke; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; devoted aunts, Blanche Gray and Mary Wiley, both of Fincastle; and a devoted friend, Randy Baldwin, Roanoke. Funeral service will be Monday, April 20, 1998 at 1:00 p.m. in the Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Dwight O. Steele Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
