Obituary read: "Beulah Beckelhymer, 76, of Covington, died at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at Covington Manor Nurshing Center. She had been a patient since Monday and had been ill a year.

A resident of Covington since December 1982, she was a former resident of West Liberty area south of Covingotn, Perrysville and Rushville. She was the office secretary for Dr. Johnson in Perrsyville several years. She was a member of the West Liberty Church of Christ, Ladies Aide of the church, Covington Senior Citizens, Senior Citizens Band and Perrysville TOPS Club. She enjoyed listening to the Covington Christian Radio Station and singing and visiting with family and friends.

She was born February 19, 1907 in Limeridge, Wisconsin, the daughter of Lewis and Lydia Phen Warren. She married George Shookman in 1923. He died March 4, 1936. She later married Joseph Beckelhymer February 18, 1939. He died November 8, 1984.

Survivors include three sons, Lloyd A. Shookman, Rancho Cordova, Californa; Robert L. Shookman, Lafayette, and Samuel E. Shookman, Randolph, Wisconsin; five stepdaughters, Annabelle Everett, Route 2, Covington; Mrs. Harold (Rosemary) Drollinger, Route 2, Kingman; Mrs. James (Evelyn) Whittaker, Perrysville; Mrs. John (Shirley) Coffing, Route 1, Covington; and Mrs. Dale (Gladys) VanHook, Shamokin Dam, Pennsyvlania; a stepson, Max Beckelhymer, Covington; two sisters, Lela Willman, Iron Mountain, Michigan, and Grace Cadman, Turnersville, New Jersey; four brothers, Ayton Warren in California, Clayton Warren, Jamesville, Wisconsin, Lloyd Warren, Beliot, Wisconsin, and Paul Warren in Wisconsin; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 28 step-great-grandchildren and three step-great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers, a grandchild and three step-sons.

Funeral services will be held twoday (Friday, May 10) at the West Liberty Church of Christ south of Covington. The Rev. Randy Collins will officiate. Burial will be in West Liberty Cemetery. The Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, was in charge of arrangements.

The family has requested that memorials be in the form of contributions to Covington Senior Citizens Club or American Cancer Society."
