Gladys (Warren) Bradford, age 96, died on September 13, 2015, at the Golden Living Center, Plymouth. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph F. Bradford. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Elise (Powers) Warren. She was educated in East Boston, and spent over 70 years summering in Plymouth, making it her permanent home 35 years ago. She moved to Plymouth from Melrose. Gladys was a member of the Bonnie Seniors, the AARP and had volunteered in the child care for RSVP. She enjoyed sewing as well as gardening and traveling. Gladys was the beloved mother of her children, Joseph F. Bradford Jr. of Manomet, Janice L. Reardon of Plymouth, Judith A. Foye of Plymouth and Jayne M. Malone of Needham. She was also the cherished grandmother of nine; and survived by several great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will take place Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Davis Funeral & Cremation Home, 619 State Rd., Manomet (Plymouth). The funeral will take place Thursday morning at 9:15 from the Davis Funeral and Cremation Home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Bonaventure's Church, 803 State Rd., Manomet (Plymouth), at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Manomet Cemetery, Plymouth.
