A memorial service for Mary Eunice Warner of Monmouth, a former Gresham resident, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in New Hope Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Warner died Friday in a Salem care center of complications arising from a stroke. She was 86.
Born May 15, 1904, she was raised in Nebraska. She earned her teaching degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1924 and subsequently taught kindergarten in Burbank, Calif., for several years.
In 1951, Mrs. Warner moved to Seattle, where she worked as a dental assistant. She lived in the Gresham area from 1981 until 1988, when she moved to Monmouth. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann Stewart of Monmouth; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
