__________
"Dale's Life"
Written by his son, Thomas Burdette Warner, 2013.

"Dale spent his life trying to live the opposite of his father--in particular in way he raised his 6 children. Overall, 80% success, depending which kids you talk to.

"He and his wife, Elois, and two other families established a church in Coldwater, Branch, MI in the 1950s that is still going strong today. They started a kids camp in Jones, MI, and one daughter is still on the board. At this camp he helped build the coolest two-blockhouse fort you ever saw.

"He made sure all his children had the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In the 1970s he got involved with the "Forgotten Man" mission, and was a long-time volunteer in Branch County.

"He led his future son-n-law to the Lord, then got him involved in the "Forgotten Man" ministry; so involved, in fact, that he went on to be the best jail chaplain they ever had, and they put up a monument in front of the jail in his honor.

"Dad was active in the Big Brother-Big Sister organization, as was his son-n-law. He participated in "Wondering Wheels". At age 70, he pedaled his bicycle from Traverse City, MI, to Adrian, MI.

"After his wife Elois died, he opened his home to an outfit called "Child Evangelism". Once a week the children came in and did kids' services in his living room, right up until the end of his life--and this was the life of the ultra humble "Saint" Dale Jay Warner."
