Bettye Warden, 88, passed away November 9, 2016 in Joplin, Missouri.
Bettye was born June 24, 1928 in Jasper County Missouri to Charley Young and Opal (Ferguson) Young.
She was a lifetime Carthage resident and graduated Carthage High School Class of 1945.
Bettye was a homemaker and she drove the Oats Bus for 15 years.
Bettye was united in marriage to Rex Warden July 2, 1946; he preceded her in 2000.
Bettye is survived by six brothers and sisters, one son Rex Warden Jr. and wife Jan of Tulsa and one daughter Robin Schooling of Carthage, three grandchildren Amy Thrasher, Alison Barton and Josh Yoachum, five great grandchildren Mariah Thrasher, Ty Thrasher, Katie Barton, Abby Barton and Arian Yoachum.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday November 12, 2016 at Park Cemetery.
