Don was born April 17, 1919, in Carthage, Mo., the oldest son of Arthur Eugene Warden and Faye Leone Prickett-Warden. He served in the U. S. Navy, in the Pacific Theatre, during World War 074II.
After the service, Don attended the University of Arkansas, in Fayetteville, Ark. After his graduation Don united in marriage with Helen J. Vantrease, on December 30, 1950, in Joplin, Mo. A few years later Don and Helen settled in Sedalia, where they raised their three children. Don loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
He is survived by his beloved wife of over 63 years, Helen; his son, Marc; daughter, Donalyn; son, Keith; and his brother, Jack A. Warden. Don was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Robert A.Warden.
It was the deceased wishes that there be no memorial service or requests for donations. Interment will be at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, Joplin, Mo.
