"Pauline W. Conrad Bair, 97, of Ephrata Manor, formerly of New Holland, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Ephrata Community Hospital.

Pauline was born and raised in New Holland, the daughter of the late William I. and Mary Jane (Ranck) Wanner.

She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in New Holland and a former member of St. Stephen United Church of Christ in New Holland.

Pauline was married for 29 years to the late John R. Bair who passed away in Feb. 2001, and for 31 years to the late Levi W. Conrad who passed away in Feb. 1964.

She was employed throughout her life at Hamilton Watch Co., RCA, Ormond's, Sears, and Akron Restaurant. She enjoyed knitting, card playing, Bingo, and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by two children, Shirley Conrad Roth of Fivepointville, and James D. Conrad of Manheim; a step-son, Lee A. Bair of Parrish, FL; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and 11 step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Larry B. Conrad; a step son, J. Arnold Bair; and two sisters, Cora Bair and Helen Brubaker.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 11 a.m. at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 276 W. Main St., New Holland, PA 17557 with the Reverend Eric Ritz officiating. Interment will be in the Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery, Rothsville. The family will receive friends at the Church on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Evangelical United Methodist Church (address above) or to the Ephrata Manor Benevolent Fund, 99 Bethany Road, Ephrata, PA 17522.
