He was born in Palestine, TX on November 30, 1930 to the late Theodore (Dosh) Walton and Delma (Powell) Walton. He was a loving brother to James, Janice and Jack.
Ann Spruill Walton was his wife of 64 years and together they lovingly raised their daughter, Kelli and son, Jason. Forest was blessed with six grandchildren, Nicholas, Hayley, Logan, Katie, Alexander and Andrew; and three great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Kylie and Gabby; as well as nieces and nephews.
He was owner of Walton’s Body Shop and retired in 2006. A longtime member of the Lake Jackson Church of Christ, Forest enjoyed spending time with his family, playing Shanghai and sharing a joke or two with anyone with whom he came in contact.
A celebration of Forest’s life will be held at Lake Jackson Church of Christ on Saturday, January 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Texas Wounded Warriors.
He had a sense of humor and a love of life. You would often hear him say, “Now, what does a Cajun say? “Bayou!
