LIBERTY – Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home in Hubbard, with the Rev. Ralph Barney officiating, for Shirley E. Stephany, 65, who entered into rest Thursday afternoon, Dec. 29, 2011, with her family by her side, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.
Shirley was born June 29, 1946, in Youngstown, a daughter of Wilbur and Della Rupert Waltman.
She was a 1964 graduate of Hubbard High School.
Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed bingo, going to the casino, and working on crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed spending time with her dog, Bambi.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 47 years, Larry Stephany Sr., whom she married on Dec. 8, 1964, in Glasford, Ill.
She also leaves her son, Larry Jr. (Janice) Stephany of Girard and her daughter, Pamela (Art) Fisher of Liberty. Shirley also leaves her sister, Laura (Rev. Ralph) Barney of Girard; her brother, Wilbur Waltman, also of Girard; as well as five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Phyllis Paulin and Lois Wyckoff.
Calling hours will be Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
A graveside committal service and burial will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at North Jackson Cemetery.
