Graveside services for Una P. Andrews, 95, of Athens, will be at 11:30 a.m. today at the Athens City Cemetery with Bro. Bob White officiating and McConnell Funeral Home directing. Helen Andrews and Susan Sullavanne, Mrs. Andrews' nieces, and DeWayne Sullavanne will provide music.

Mrs. Andrews died Sunday, August 3, 2008, at her home. She was born June 20, 1913, in Giles County, Tenn., to Alfred Landrum Wallace and Dovie Elizabeth Daly Wallace.
She was a member of the Oakdale Baptist Church.

Mrs. Andrews was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Andrews; one brother, Roy Wallace; seven sisters, Lacy Ryan, Essie Weiss, Beulah Colan, Vera Larkins, Rosie Culps, Oweita Morell and Rilla Morell.

Survivors include one son, Douglas Andrews and wife Frances; three daughters, Gloria Wheeler and husband Basil, Joan Pressnell and husband Dewey, and Phyllis Kindred (widow of Leonard P. Kindred Jr.), all of Athens; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Steven Andrews, Jeff McDonald, Michael Pressnell, Shalon Kindred, Coby Medlen, Colin McMurry, John Andrews, Clay McDonald, Tyler Irvin and Nick McDonald.
