WOODLAND — Betty Lou Wallace, 62, of 430 Peterbuilt Lane, Woodland, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at her residence.
Born Jan. 27, 1941, in Clearfield, she was a daughter of Ai "Sheeney" and Viola (Litz) Conklin.
Mrs. Wallace was a beautician and homemaker.
She attended Trinity United Methodist Church, Clearfield.
On Jan. 25, 1958, in Clearfield, she wed James M. Wallace Sr., who survives along with four children, James M. Wallace Jr. of Woodland, Ai E. Wallace and his wife, Tammy, of Bigler, Lisa Lego and her husband, John, of Osceola Mills and Jack D. Wallace of Irvona; six grandchildren, Kurt, McKenzie, Brandon, Aaron, Laura and Kayla; a sister, Leona Sass of Curwensville; a brother, Jack Conklin and his wife, Emma, of Pine Top, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Renee Lynn Wallace.
Funeral services will be held at Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Brenda K. Libreatori officiating.
Interment will be at Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of services.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association, 352 W. Eighth St., Erie, PA 16502.
