Graveside services for Mrs. Donna Walker Barron, 40, of East Dublin, will be held at 10
a.m. Tuesday at Carters Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Billy Todd will officiate. Mrs. Barron was a lifelong resident of Laurens County. Her mother was the late Linda Carol Smith. She was a Baptist. She was formerly employed with the Johnson County YDC at the Toomsboro Nursing Home. She died Saturday. Survivors include her son, Christopher Taylor Barron of Dublin; her father, Howard Walker of Dublin; her sister and brother-in-law, Darla and Joseph Knight of East Dublin; her brother and sister-in-law,
Greg and Becky Haynes Walker of Cadwell; her nieces, Melissa Wood of Dublin and
Haley Walker of Dexter; her grandmother, Beulah Walker of Dublin; and several aunts,
uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be Jerry Smith, Spencer Smith, Ray Brantley, Casey Joiner, Billy Beacham and Taylor Barron. The family will be at the home of Darla and Joseph Knight, 159 Ernest Stinson Road, and will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Townsend Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
