Ruth Eileen Walker Beals of Ovilla, Texas passed away suddenly Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007.
Born September 8, 1924 in Barnesville, Ohio to John Donald Walker and Grace Ellen Gibson Walker.
She went on to serve her country in the U.S. Navy Waves.
A beloved and devoted mother of 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, Ruth was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Cedar Hill, Texas.
Survivors include her daughter, Ellen Beals of Ovilla, Texas; son, Mark Beals of Oregon City, OR; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Tickhill of Barnesville, Ohio and Blanche Summers of College Station, Texas.
Two of her children, Deborah and Bruce Beals preceded her in death.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007 at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 265 W. Pleasant Run Rd., Cedar Hill, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Wednesday at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville.
Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery on Friday morning at 10 am.
