Services for Mrs. Dollie M. Fakes [d cert: Darliska Delitha Fakes], 102 of 6647 Lakewood, will be Tuesday. Burial in Oakland Cemetery. Survived by daughter, Mrs. Peyton L. Campbell of Dallas; 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fakes was wife of the founder of Fakes Furniture and was a Dallas resident since 1895. She married the late W. T. Fakes in 1879 in Fort Worth. They moved to Dallas in 1895. He died in 1900. The Fakes family donated libraries to Trinity University in San Antonio and Texas Seminary at Weatherford. Fakes Hall at City Temple [Presbyterian] Church was named in honor of the family.
