Born on May 18, 1918, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Harry T. and Helen S. (Buswell) Wakely.
On Jan. 10, 1937, she joined the Hudson Falls United Methodist Church and has been an active member ever since.
Mrs. Andrews and her husband Harry met there while teaching Sunday school, which they did for many years.
They married on June 21, 1937, in that church.
Mrs. Andrews was a graduate of the Adirondack Business School.
For 10 years, she worked in the office of Dr. Stanley Edmunds in Glens Falls.
Mrs. Andrews was preceeded in death by her husband, on Oct. 16, 1993, following 56 years of marriage, as well as her parents, a son, Harrison J. Andrews; and two brothers, Milton T. Wakely and Nelson B. Wakely.
Burial will follow at Glens Falls Cemetery on Bay Street in Glens Falls.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St. in Hudson Falls.
