ALEXANDER, Pattie Sue (Madea) 88 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on September 12, 1922, to the late Anna Mae McAfee (Lee) and Willie Wainwright. She enjoyed reading books and spending quality time with her family. She always extended her door to anyone who needed help, extended family and also an attentive ear to anyone who needed a listener. She is survived by her son, David Alexander Sr.; six grandchildren, Rychelle (Myron), Kolisia (Michael), Ramel, Damian, Alex, David Jr.; great-grandchildren (14); two sisters Mattie, East St. Louis, MO and Delcinia, Dayton; nieces & nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Edward L. Alexander Sr., son, Edward Alexander Jr.; two daughters Yvonne Alexander, Lois Moorer. A gathering of family and friends will be held 10:00 a.m., with funeral following at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 401 So. Paul L. Dunbar Street. Rev. Dr. Charles S. Brown, officiant. Interment West Memory Gardens. Services Respectfully Rendered by H.H. Roberts.
