Bernard H. Vrooman, 95, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015, in Kirkland Village. He was the husband of Viola (Norton) Vrooman. They celebrated their 73rd anniversary in February.
He received both Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Temple and was employed as a research chemist at Honeywell/Allied Chemical. He served as a combat medic in the Army during WWII. Bernard was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Bethlehem Twp.
Survivors: Wife; 2 sons, Jim (Fredda) and Kim (Judy); daughter, Dawn (Roy); brother, R. Clifford; 6 grandchildren; 5great-grandchildren.
Services: 4 p.m. Saturday, April 25, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem.
