Louise was united in marriage with Walter Bell on April 9, 1940 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Shenandoah. Following their marriage they lived in Shenandoah and Red Oak for a short time. Then they lived in the eastern U.S. for several years and San Francisco, California before moving to Essex, Iowa in November 1945.
Mrs. Bell had worked at Henry Fields in Shenandoah and was Librarian at the Essex Public Library for a number of years. She was active in the St. John's Lutheran Church, the church quilting group, and was a member of the Culture Club.
Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother and four sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Walter of Essex, two daughters, Caroline Malloy of Alexandria, Virginia, Harriet Monson of Cedar Falls, Iowa and one son, Charles of Albuquerque, New Mexico, two grandchildren.
