Clarence is the third born of three children all born to Joseph and Jennie(Tripp) Vogel. He lived, attended school, and worked all his life in the Bettendorf & Davenport areas of Scott County Iowa. He married Margaret L. Davison on Sept. 24th, 1928 and they have two children. He worked at the Rock Island Arsenal for several years. Family members said he contracted TB while serving during WW II & never recovered. After an illness of four years he was admitted to the Pine Knoll Sanitorium after 1 1/3 months he succomed to the TB and he died. The actual cause of death is as follows: Respiratory Failure/Bilateral far advanced Pulmonary Tubuculosis. I'm still looking for the resting place of his parents so they can all be connected thru the Family Link. I will gladly welcome any additions or corrections from other family members. I am a Navy veteran & I'm trying to honor as many of my fellow family members who are veterans also.
