Mr. Vining was thirty-five years old, the son of Mr. and Mrs. David M. Vining. He is survived by his mother and father., two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Fields of Brooklyn , N.Y. and Mrs. Harry Morrell of Atlanta and three brothers Gus Vining, Cecil Vining and Joe Vining.

4/4/1915 - Atlanta Constitution - VINING - The friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. David M. Vining, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. W. Fields, of Brooklyn, New York, Mr. and Mrs. Haris Morrill, Mr. Cecil Vining, of Birmingham, Alabama, Mr. Joe Vining, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Mr. Gus Vining and Mr. and Mrs. William S. Vining are invited to attend the funeral of Mr. David M. Vining today, Sunday, April 5, 1915, at 3:30 p.m. from the chapel of H. M. Patterson & Son, Rev. W. R. Hendrix will officiate. interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. The following named gentlemen will please act as pallbearers and meet at the chapel at 3:15: Mr. G. W. Evans, Mr. J. H. Latimer, Sheriff C. W. Mangum, Mr. W. R. Elliott, Mr. T. C. Laird and Mr. E. A. Warwick. The members of the Order of Railway Conductors #180 will have charge of the services at the cemetery and will please meet at their hall at 3. All members of the Order of Railway Conductors are specially invited to attend.
