She was born in the Town of Clayton on the Vincent homestead, daughter of Leonard & Mary Johnson Vincent.

88, DIES WEDNESDAY
IN THREE MILE BAY


Mrs Ida Mary Vincent Phillips,
88, died at the home of
her daughter, Mrs George Matteson.
Three Mile Bay, at 4:30
Wednesday morning, following
a cerebral hemorrhage suffered
on Sunday afternoon.

Funeral services will be held
Saturday at 2 p.m. from the
home of her daughter, with the
Rev E E VanDeventer, pastor
of the Bay Baptist church, officiating.

Burial will be made
in the St Lawrence cemetery.
Mrs Phillips was born near
St Lawrence January 15, I860,
daughter of the late Leonard
and Mary Johnson Vincent.
She was married to Augustus
Phillips on November 2, 1882.
Mr Phillips died October 28,
1924.

Mrs Phillips resided all her
life in St Lawrence until March
1, 1946, when she went to the
Bay to reside.
Surviving, besides, her daughter,
are four half brothers,
Arthur Vincent, Alaska; Seaton
and Everett Vincent, Watertown,
and Otto Vincent, of
Chaumont; two half sisters,
Mrs Merritt Littlefield, Watertown,
and Mrs Blanche Hayes,
Depauville; also several nieces and nephews.
