ELAINE V. TROMBETTA

Elaine V. Trombetta, 74, of Hastings Street in Brookville, died Wednesday, October 4, 2000 at her residence.

Born March 8, 1926, in Brockport, PA. She was married to James Trombetta who preceded her in death on September 29, 1964.

She was a Payroll Clerk for PennDOT before retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Brookville.

She is survived by one son, Nick Trombetta of Clarion; one daughter, Roxanne Trombetta of Hazen; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 6, at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Brookville with Fr. Joseph Staszewski celebrating. Interment will follow in the St. Tobias Cemetery in Brockway. The Goble Funeral Home of Brookville is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

NOTE: Her obituary states she was born in Brockport but several other sources state Crenshaw.
