Cindy Jean Veal Dingler, 57, of Newnan, passed away at The Cancer Treatment Centers of America on Thursday, July 3, 2014, after a valiant battle with breast cancer.

She literally gave it her all – she was the strongest person that most people had ever met. She was a devoted Christian, a wife, a mother, "GaGa," a sister, a sister-in-law and a faithful friend.

Cindy was born to the late Bobby Joe and Marianne Brown Veal in Newnan on March 12, 1957. She had a passion for life and enjoyed her grandbabies more than anything on Earth. She absolutely adored the name they gave her, "GaGa," and nothing made her happier than to hear those sweet little voices calling her name. She will be missed beyond comprehension.

She worked in the banking industry for many years before transferring to the Coweta County School System so that she would be home with her babies a bit more often.

Married on June 15, 1974, she is survived by her husband of 40 years, Clifford Edward Dingler Jr., "Eddie," whom she loved dearly and thought could make or fix anything. She is also survived by her daughters, Kacie (Glenn) McWaters and Brooke (Dustin) Barnes. She is also survived by her pride and joy, Walter Glenn McWaters Jr., Reese Kaitlyn Barnes and Gracin Jean Barnes. Cindy is survived by her brothers, Joey Veal, Nickey (Lisa) Veal, Randy (Sheri) Veal; and sister, Renay (Guy) Rumohr; nieces and nephews, Nicholas Veal, Joshua (Nicole) Rumohr, Olivia Rumohr, Kelsey Veal, Jay Veal, Brent Veal and John Thomas Veal. She is survived by her mother-in-law for 40 years as well, Louise Payton Dingler.

Cindy was a patient at The Cancer Treatment Center here in Newnan, Ga. She was so happy there and was treated so well. She wasn't fond of the reason she had to go there but did love the people and the facility. She loved her time at the bank and at the different schools and spoke frequently about her times there and the people she loved from each place. She had been with the Special Education Department working with preschool for some time now and has made amazing, lifelong friends. She was a very happy person and very well loved by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 13, 2014, from 4-6 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, GA 30263. Graveside funeral service will be Monday, July 14, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 656 Roscoe Road, Newnan, GA 30263. Cindy asked that donations be made to The American Cancer Society, 301 Kelly Drive, Suite 3, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269 and Coweta County Special Olympics, P.O. Box 280, Newnan, GA 30264.

Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.mckoon.com .

Cindy's family wishes to thank each and everyone for their love, concern, support and endless prayers during her extended illness. No matter the gesture, each act of kindness and love was deeply appreciated and did not go unnoticed. McKoon Funeral Home and Crematory, 770-253-4580
