Ettie LaRue Cherry, 90, of Hixson, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011, at her residence.
Mrs. Cherry was born March 19, 1921 in Stewart County, Tenn., daughter of the late John and Jewel Vaughan.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Elbert LeRoy Cherry.
Survivors include her daughter, Gail (Bill) Lovelace, Hixson; sister, Jean Atkins, Dover; grandchildren, Grant, Kelley and Cory Lovelace; and great-grandchildren, McCain Merren, Garrett, Parker McKencie, Catey and Claire Lovelace.Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today, Nov. 15, at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, Tenn., with Rev. Don Bailey officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation will be noon until the time of service today at Anglin Funeral Home.
