Funeral services were held Sept. 20 at Indian Creek Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with the Revs. Robert Patrick and Roscoe Spradlin officiating. Burial was in Higginbotham Cemetery. She was born April 19, 1901, in McCreary County to the late Henry Vanover and Lula Belle {*should say Mary Belle..per Margy} Vanover. She lived here all her lifetime, was a housewife, and member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Jesse Perry; a son, Kenneth Perry; six brothers; and five sisters. Survivors include her children, Carl Perry of Cincinnati, Ohio, Gertie Vanover of Whitley City, Clarence Perry of Beulah Heights, Lois Patrick of Fostoria, Ohio, and Charles Perry of Sawyer; 20 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren
