Betty J. Van Horn, 77 peacefully passed away in her sleep Saturday, April 16, 2005, to be with our Lord after a yearlong battle with lung cancer.

Betty was born Nov. 14, 1927, in Fort Worth. She loved gardening, sewing and crafts. Betty was a volunteer at Huguley Hospital and was a very giving and caring lady. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Burleson, Betty loved animals, especially her dogs, Smokey, Angel and Lil' Bit.

Survivors: Son, Ken Geeslin and wife, Brenda, of Burleson: grand-daughters, Tracey Walker and husband, Scott, and Tina Famell and husband, Kyle all of Burleson; great-grandchildren, Blake and Reese Walker of Burleson and Davis, Pierson and Caitlin Famell of Burleson.
