m. J[ohn]C[ornelius] ALBERTSON 17 February 1886 and resided on a farm 2 ½ miles south of Fremont, [IA] until her death

Cause of death - blood clot in the heart; had been in the yard hunting for hens' nests in a bed of mint. A broken pane of glass had been thrown in the bed of mint & was sticking up; she cut her leg below the knee 4"-5" deep
