LOGAN, UT - Myrtle Elmeda Vail Killian, 100, of Logan, Utah, died Aug.1, 1994, at Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Dec. 25, 1893, at Thayne, Wyo., to Ammon Lewis and Mary Ann Petersen Vail.
On Feb. 18, 1918, she married James Charles Killian at Rigby. They owned and operated a farm in Rigby and also trapped beavers for the government. She also lived in Thayne, WY; Poplar, ID; and Hyde Park, Smithfield and Logan, UT.
She was a member of the LDS Church. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends at the Senior Citizen Center.
Survivors include 2 sisters and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 daughters, 3 brothers and a sister.
