Jane Auld, 87, of East North Street, Mount Gilead, Ohio died Wednesday, May 25, 2005 in Bennington Glenn.

She was born in Marion, Ohio on April 3, 1918, the daughter of the late Amos and Edith (Roberts) Uncapher. She graduated from Harding High School in 1937 and Marion Business College. Jane worked for Marion County Bank, City Loan and the Morrow County Treasurers Office until retiring in 1983. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by two sons John (Mary) Auld of San Pedro, CA, Jeffrey (Vicki) Auld of Sunbury, Ohio; a daughter Rev. Janet Gallegher of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren James, Karen, Jenny and Eric; four great grandchildren Athena, Seth, Mikayla and Colin; and a brother John Uncapher of Marion, Ohio.

Her husband James "Gene" Auld, whom she married Sept. 3, 1949, preceded her in death on May 30, 1997. A brother Robert Uncapher and two sisters Clara Haley and Helen Richards also preceded her in death.
