Neeses - Mrs. Lila Tyler Jeffcoat, 74, of 7305 Neeses Highway, Neeses, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, May 9, at Livingston United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Robbie Hall officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church at 4 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tunis Jeffcoat, Clint Moody, Mike Jones, Marion Atkins, Al Atkins and Jeryl Livingston. Mrs. Jeffcoat was born in Neeses, a daughter of the late B. Moss and Eula Corbett Tyler. She was a member of Livingston United Methodist Church and was married to the late Melvin Legrand Davis. Survivors include her husband, James L. Jeffcoat of Neeses; daughter, Ann Vinson of Neeses; sons, Preston Davis of Ehrhardt, Stephen I. Davis of Neeses and Johnny M. Davis of Norway; sisters, Rebecca Tyler of Neeses and Shirley Halstead of Marmet, West Virginia; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home of North.
