Joan Eleanor Drinkwater, 87, of Beloit, WI, died Sunday, April 30, 2017 in Sun Valley Terrace. She was born October 21, 1929 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Alvin and Alma (Burns) Turrell. She was a 1947 graduate of Beloit High School. Joan attended Beloit College and the School of Nursing in Milwaukee, WI. She married Clarence L. Drinkwater on August 5, 1950 in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Beloit, WI. He predeceased her on May 13, 2015. Private graveside service May 6, 2017 in East Lawn Cemetery.
