Our loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Emma Jean Turpin Cox passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2007.
She was born June 29, 1948, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Rex and Maxine Turpin.
Emma graduated from Orem High School in 1966.
She married the love of her life, Glen K. Cox, on October 6, 1967 in the Manti Temple.
They shared 39 wonderful years of marriage and the joy of having four children.
They lived in Orem the younger years of their life where they raised their family and then moved to Spanish Fork to pursue their love for golf. She also loved reading, boating, going on cruises, traveling, and camping.
Our mother was very giving and talented.
She offered her time and talents by crocheting baby blankets for friends and her loved ones.
She was a compassionate person and crocheted bandages for the lepers in other countries and hats for the needy.
Our mother was a dedicated employee in all her positions.
She spend 20 years at Signetics and the remainder at mortgage companies, the latest at Axiom Financial where she loved all the people with whom she worked.
Emma was preceded in death by her mother Maxine Turpin, father-in-law Ren Cox, and nephew Richard Turpin.
