Doris was the daughter of Samuel J and Mary Turner of Stockton, CA. She was born in W. Virginia. Doris attended Pittsburg High School and after graduation she married her sweetheart, Harold R. Albright. Together they had five sons, Ronald, Larry, Robert, Samuel and Bill. Doris was active in Sweet Adelines and also worked for the now defunct Camp Stoneman. She also worked as a nurse in a convalescent home. Doris was deeply loved by her children and grandchildren. She was a giant oak to all who knew her.
