LORRAINE (DEE DEE) BARBARA TURNER, age 83, was born to Aubrey and Alice (Ollivier) Howard of Yakima, Washington on September 26, 1925 and passed away in Seattle on January 11, 2009. Dee Dee graduated from Yakima High School in 1944 and shortly after married her high school sweetheart, Theodore J. Hackett Jr. Dee Dee was a loving and devoted mother to her four children and a longtime resident of Burien, W A.
She worked for Nordstrom for many years and retired from the company in 1987. Later in life Dee Dee married Paul D. Turner, and they lived together happily until his death in 1998. Dee Dee will be remembered as a generous, kind and thoughtful person to her family and friends. She is survived by daughters Connie Robison, Karen Hackett, Teresa Tobias, son Theodore Hackett and ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Dee Dee will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.com or 800-848-7097. Services will be held, 12:30 PM, Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA.
