Mrs. Mattie Morris, of Auburn, died Wednesday, March 18, at Memorial hospital Springfield, at the age of 68 years. She had been a hospital patient for one week.
Deceased was born in Scottville, March 30, 1894.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Wm. Bauswell; five grandchildren, and five brothers, Roy Turner of Atlanta, Saul Turner of Detroit, Mich., Everett and Herman Turner of Waverly and Ernest Turner of Modesto.
Funeral services were held at the Willis Funeral home in Auburn Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Burial was in East cemetery, at Waverly.
