A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Newman United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brett Strobel officiating. Lundberg's L.B. Hall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Turner was born June 12, 1906, in Cottage Grove. She moved to Grants Pass in 1909 and graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1924.
In 1926 she married Ray O. Turner, who died in 1985. For a short period she worked at Chet's Pet and Garden Center when it was owned by Chet Tompkins.
She was a member of Newman United Methodist Church for 90 years. She was a 50-year member of the Zuleima Temple White Rose Nile and Eastern Star. She was also a 50-year member of the Community Concert Association and past chairwoman of the Tuberculosis Association when it was active in Grants Pass.
She was a PTA president of schools her children attended and volunteered for many events the schools held.
She enjoyed gardening, growing roses, and her family.
Survivors include four daughters, Pat Wills, Mary Knight and Joyce Loomis, all of Grants Pass, and Sallie Parrnelli of Central Point; a son, John Turner of Gainesville, Texas; 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
