Tessie T. Barela Age 71, of Santa Fe, NM passed away peacefully on February 24th, 2010, following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, George Barela; parents, Luis and Andrea Trujillo; brothers, Lupe and Pablo Trujillo; sister, Rosina. She is survived by her son, Jeff (Laura); sisters: Dee Dee (Mac), Dolores (David), Margaret, and Celine; and brother, Louie (Francis); grandchildren; Jeff (Mandy), Jordan, Jason, Lawrence and Laurissa; great grandchildren; Lauren, Cameron, Jeffrey III, Loiza, Harmony, Caeli; numerous nieces and nephews. To her special sisters: Dee Dee and Margaret, niece Kathy, nephew, Steve; and friend, Gail, many thanks for their extraordinary efforts and time spent caring for Tessie during her illness. The family would like to thank everyone for keeping Tessie in their prayers. A Rosary will be prayed at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Monday, March 1st, at 9 a.m. To be followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Monday, March 1st, at 11:30 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Berardinelli Family Funeral Service 1399 Luisa Street, Santa Fe, NM 87505 (505)984-8600
